SSERC are the Scottish Delivery Partners for the STEM Ambassador Programme and the team work in partnership with YSLP, also based at SSERC, offering the opportunity to have real-life examples of STEM careers in schools, colleges and universities nationwide. The STEM Ambassador programme supports a broad network of volunteers that help challenge the stereotypes permeating STEM fields and can offer a wide range of support such as engaging activities for the next generation to be inspired by STEM pathways.
How can I benefit from a STEM Ambassador?
A STEM Ambassador can be an invaluable free addition to any project or subject you are covering in your classrooms/curriculums. From classroom activities to mentoring and site visits or hosting work experiences (and more!), STEM Ambassadors can provide real life experiences and help inspire your young people to learn more and make informed decisions about their future careers.
What do I do to take part?
