What will the world be like in 60 years?
Enter your ideas into our time capsule
To celebrate 60 years of SSERC, we invite Young STEM Leaders and STEM Ambassadors to imagine the world 60 years from now. What will science, technology or life on Earth (or beyond) look like in 2085?
Submit a Time Capsule Entry as part of this year’s challenge. Choose one of five themes and tell us what you think the world could be like in 2085. You could write, draw your ideas or create a collage—whatever helps you share your vision.
Selected entries will be collated in a Digital Gallery launching this September. All contributions will be sealed in a Time Capsule to be opened in 2085 by the Young STEM Leaders and STEM Ambassadors of the future.
We'll also be showcasing entries throughout #YoungSTEMLeaderWeek2025 (27th - 31st October).
