The Power of Curiosity

Celebrating curiosity as the driving force behind the Young STEM Leader Programme

Young STEM Leader week will run from 28 October - 1 November 2024 with activities, events and challenges to engage and inspire Young STEM Leaders and Tutor Assessors across Scotland.

This year's theme is
The Power of Curiosity - celebrating curiosity as the driving force behind the Young STEM Leader programme.

Each day of the week will be themed with accompanying activities and resources to support your involvement with #YoungSTEMLeaderWeek.

Monday

The Red Cabbage ph Indicator Test

In this experiment, Isabella and Noah from Our Lady of the Missions Primary School show us how red cabbage water can be used as a pH indicator.

Teachers are invited to this free Professional Learning session to learn more about the Scottish Space sector.  This will give you ideas on how to link space to the curriculum and give you the opportunity to learn more about careers and the exciting opportunities available to young people.  You will have the chance to ask questions after the panellists have spoken.
